RedStone Launches New Oracle Machine Product Atom: A Perfect Combination of Liquidation Intelligence and Enhanced Lending Engine

RedStone recently announced a significant breakthrough in Oracle Machine technology: the Oracle Machine Atom, which has the capability of intelligent settlement. This is the industry's first Oracle Machine solution that can actively enhance the efficiency of lending protocols.

Atom introduces a zero-delay Oracle Machine update mechanism, allowing the protocol to settle positions faster, improve loan-to-value ratios, and provide better risk-adjusted returns. Additionally, Atom can dynamically capture the Oracle Machine Extractable Value (OEV) when putting prices on-chain and return this portion of value to the protocol, which can be used for revenue, enhancing user returns, or reducing borrowing costs.

It is worth mentioning that Atom adopts an innovative application-specific sorting technology that does not introduce clearing delays or additional security assumptions. This technology can be enabled on any RedStone data source and any blockchain without the need for code changes or engineering investment.

Currently, Atom has been launched on Unichain, providing security guarantees for several well-known lending protocols, and plans to deploy on more public chains.

The core advantages of Atom include:

  1. Lending agreement performance enhancement: Atom transforms the Oracle Machine into a performance engine, unlocking higher LTV and better returns through instant settlement.
  2. Zero-latency settlement: Instantly update prices when they are liquidatable, allowing the protocol to adopt stricter risk parameters.
  3. Native OEV Capture: Capture the liquidation value through a sealed auction and return it to the agreement.
  4. Atomic-level transactions: Price updates, settlements, and OEV payments are completed in approximately 300 milliseconds.
  5. No integration work required: can be activated instantly on any RedStone data source and any chain.

RedStone co-founder Marcin Kazmierczak stated: "Atom is a fundamental transformation in the Oracle Machine space, tailored for protocols. It gives lending protocols an unfair advantage in the race for the best yields, while also addressing the long-standing hundreds of millions of dollars OEV efficiency problem in DeFi."

The launch of Atom addresses the core issues of traditional push data sources. Traditional Oracles typically update prices based on preset conditions with a low update frequency, limiting the potential of lending protocols. In contrast, Atom provides a push data source that updates in real-time as needed by the protocol, enabling DeFi protocols to complete settlements faster and more efficiently than their competitors.

On the OEV issue, Atom also provides innovative solutions. The Atom OEV auction is conducted through FastLane's Atlas, bringing new RedStone price flows to the off-chain auction, lasting less than 300 milliseconds. After the auction ends, the Atlas smart contract atomically updates the data source and settles the auction, ensuring that the Oracle Machine updates and settlements are inseparable and atomic.

For protocols that want to integrate Atom, no technical integration is required. Simply apply to RedStone to enable Atom on the data source used by the protocol and provide an address to receive OEV. RedStone will be responsible for deploying the relevant contracts and notifying the team.

The launch of Atom marks the beginning of a new era for blockchain Oracle Machine technology. The lending protocols that adopt Atom to upgrade their data sources will be able to surpass competitors with more aggressive risk parameters, providing users with higher returns. This is expected to make RedStone data sources the preferred choice for lending protocols.

Alex Watts, the founder of FastLane, stated: "We are committed to building a real-time, optimized clearing risk engine for DeFi. RedStone Atom not only brings better results for users and protocols but also brings the forefront of crypto innovation back on-chain."

RedStone, as a modular Oracle Machine optimized for DeFi and on-chain finance, provides secure, reliable, and customizable data sources across more than 110 chains, and has been trusted by over 170 clients, including several leading protocols. The launch of Atom will further consolidate RedStone's leading position in the Oracle Machine field.
