On July 6, Jin10 reported that, despite Israel claiming that Hamas's request for changes to the U.S.-backed ceasefire proposal is "unacceptable," Israel will still send a delegation to Qatar on Sunday local time to negotiate the Gaza ceasefire and hostage agreement. The office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that Israel will only adhere to the original framework of the agreement. The Israel-Hamas negotiations will take place in Doha, with the return of hostages remaining a priority. This negotiation is taking place before Netanyahu's planned meeting with Trump in Washington on Monday. Earlier this week, Trump claimed that Israel had agreed to the "necessary conditions" for a 60-day ceasefire, but this statement has yet to be confirmed by Israeli officials.
