The Polkadot community has proposed 1139, and the DOT inflation rate will be reduced to 8%.
Jinse Finance reported that the Polkadot community has approved Proposal WFC (Wish For Change) 1139, which sets the annual increase of DOT Tokens at 120 million. Of this, 15% will go into the treasury and 85% will be used as stake rewards. The implementation will lower the inflation rate of DOT from 10% to 8% and gradually drop in the future.
