PANews reported on June 11 that U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune said today that the GENIUS Act (Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act), which aims to bring cryptocurrencies into the mainstream, needs to be passed urgently. He stressed that the bill will help drive the widespread acceptance and adoption of cryptocurrencies. Leader Thun called on Congress to pass this legislation as soon as possible to achieve greater adoption of cryptocurrencies.
